International Youth Day: is a significant occasion for us, as we join the global community in celebrating the potential, energy, and contributions of young people. We use this day, along with the days leading up to the commemoration, as an opportunity to focus on issues that are most relevant to the youth and directly impact their lives. Our goal is to bring these issues to the forefront, ensuring that young people are aware of the challenges they face and the opportunities available to them. This campaign is designed to empower youth with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the complexities of modern life, while also fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

As an organization, our focus on youth centres around helping them maximize their productivity and potential through various avenues. We engage young people in programs that promote skills development in agriculture, business, and employment, recognizing these as key sectors that can drive economic growth and personal empowerment. By providing practical training, mentorship, and resources, we aim to enable youth to tap into their potential and explore opportunities that can improve their livelihoods and those of their families. In addition to economic empowerment, our engagement also extends to raising awareness about Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH), helping youth understand the importance of making informed decisions regarding their health, and equipping them with the knowledge to prevent and manage diseases.

The theme of International Youth Day each year guides our activities and messaging, helping us position youth as essential pillars of society. We emphasize that the actions or inactions of today’s young people will have a profound impact on the future, shaping the communities and societies they live in. Through interactive workshops, dialogues, and community activities, we encourage youth to recognize their responsibility in driving positive change.
